About Dr. Lathrop

Dr. Marie Lathrop is an orthodontist serving the area of Portland, OR. Dr. Lathrop is a graduate of the University of Idaho, followed by the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) School of Dentistry, where she received her dental and orthodontic degrees. She has been teaching in the OHSU orthodontics graduate program since 1991. In addition, she is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.

She began her private practice at the University and moved the practice to the current location in the Sellwood-Westmoreland neighborhood of Portland, OR in July 2000. Outside of work and teaching, she enjoys many activities with her four children and her veterinarian husband, Greg. She is also an active volunteer who places great value on giving back to the surrounding community.
